ESG Disclosure and Guidance Frameworks

GRESB
Healthcare Realty received GRESB’s 4 Green Star ranking, earning a score of 80 on its 2022 assessment, up from 73 in 2021. We also received an “A” Public Disclosure rating, ranking second out of a peer group of 10 healthcare real estate companies. We began measuring our ESG performance through the GRESB Real Estate Assessment in 2020.
Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)

Our Corporate Responsibility Report disclosures align with the SASB standards framework.

TASK FORCE ON CLIMATE-RELATED FINANCIAL DISCLOSURES (TCFD)

Our 2022 Corporate Responsibility Report includes expanded climate-related disclosures in alignment with recommendations from the TCFD.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

We’ve established key performance indicators that align with the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainability Management System (SMS)
We’ve implemented a SMS framework to help facilitate a cohesive ESG program that reduces risk, increases performance, and emphasizes continuous improvement. The SMS is in alignment with the Internal Organization for Standardization (“ISO”) 14001 & 5001 standards in addition to the ENERGY STAR® Guidelines for Energy Management.
