Engagement

Healthcare Realty’s strong culture is nourished by meaningful employee communication and engagement.

In addition to gathering feedback through periodic surveys, the Company’s Environmental, Social, and Wellness Committees were created to provide an opportunity for employees to influence and implement Healthcare Realty’s ESG initiatives. The committees host several creative events in the workplace, such as cornhole tournaments, book clubs, wellness challenges, monthly birthday celebrations, and walking lunchbreaks.

Recognition

Healthcare Realty’s Engineering Impact Award program recognizes building engineers whose work demonstrates initiative, cost savings, and problem-solving; going above and beyond their typical responsibilities.

Our Wellness Committee developed the Healthcare Realty CARES program, hosting challenges focused on increasing steps, reading, mindfulness, financial fitness, and more, providing engaging ways to connect with coworkers.

Tenants and Community

Just as services provided within our buildings offer care in their communities, we support our communities through charitable contributions and employee volunteerism.

Tenant Support

Healthcare Realty property teams frequently host tenant appreciation and community events including lunches, healthy breakfast and afternoon treats, raffles, blood drives, and donation drives. In 2021, we hosted over 50 tenant appreciation events throughout the country.

TENANT SURVEYS

Healthcare Realty regularly conducts surveys to measure tenant satisfaction. We engage Kingsley Associates, an independent real estate consulting firm, to conduct tenant satisfaction surveys on our behalf.

Volunteer & Charitable Giving

Healthcare Realty is committed to supporting and encouraging employee involvement with charitable organizations, providing paid volunteer hours and a matching gift program. The Company donated over $117,000 to hospital partners and nonprofit organizations in 2021.
