ENGAGEMENT AND RECOGNITION
Our employees create and maintain Healthcare Realty’s strong culture. Using a variety of channels, employees participate in a regular cadence of communication. Employee-led social and wellness committees provide opportunities to influence and participate in activities to keep employees around the country connected.
Healthcare Realty employees work tirelessly to support our tenants and their patients. To recognize this work, the Company uses LinkedIn and internal communication to highlight our Purpose, Vision, and Values in action.
In 2024, Healthcare Realty worked with a third-party to conduct an employee engagement survey to better understand our strengths and identify areas of improvement. In response to survey results, we have begun executing an action plan to address employee feedback.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Healthcare Realty is committed to supporting the career development of our team members. Employee benefits include company-sponsored education opportunities, tuition and professional certification reimbursement, and industry-specific learning. We regularly bring employees together for company conferences and lunchtime learning sessions. In the past three years, 129 employees have been promoted, highlighting our leadership development efforts and aiding talent retention.
HEALTH, WELLNESS, and SAFETY
Healthcare Realty strives to create work environments that encourage positive health, wellness, and safety for our employees and local communities. We are committed to providing a safe workplace for all employees and making reasonable efforts to eliminate hazards that cause accidents and injuries, including providing hundreds of safety courses.
Healthcare Realty CARES focuses on supporting the mental and physical well-being of our employees. Launched in 2021, the program includes fitness challenges, community service events, employee engagement activities, and wellness support services.

Tenants and Community
Healthcare Realty emphasizes community involvement, tenant outreach, and outstanding customer service to improve the experiences of our tenants and their patients.
TENANT COMMUNICATION
We value regular, direct, and professional communication with our tenants. Our teams use a portfolio-wide tenant communication system to ensure tenants receive timely information and responses to requests. We regularly host tenant appreciation events for our building tenants, including coffee carts, free lunches, afternoon snacks, lunchtime cornhole games, and raffles.
TENANT SURVEYS
Tenant satisfaction with our customer service, patient experiences, and property conditions is vital to our success. We regularly engage Kingsley Associates, an independent real estate consulting firm, to conduct tenant satisfaction surveys on our behalf.
Volunteer & Charitable Giving
Giving back to our local communities where our physician tenants provide care is important to Healthcare Realty. We support and encourage employee involvement with charitable organizations, providing paid volunteer hours and a matching gift program. Over the past three years, we have donated to 16 hospital systems, 24 non-profit and community organizations, and 151 employee-directed charities.
