Healthcare Realty seeks to grow its portfolio and enhance investor returns through the acquisition of selected medical office and outpatient facilities. Our long-term investment objectives and strong financial foundation differentiate us from most other firms, enabling us to execute acquisitions quickly and efficiently. We generally seek two types of acquisitions:

Health Systems

Healthcare Realty partners with leading health systems through the acquisition of on-campus medical office and outpatient facilities. This investment aligns our interests by creating a partnership focused on the long-term growth and success of the health system’s financial, clinical, and community missions. Additionally, these acquisitions allow the health system to access capital while maintaining the use and control of its real estate assets.

Independent Assets

In the absence of a health system relationship, Healthcare Realty seeks to acquire off-campus, non-affiliated medical office and outpatient facilities that are in well-located medical or commercial corridors of selected markets. These acquisitions are generally in high-growth areas that are near hospital campuses, offering a unique and distinctive value to medical tenants.
